The quest for knowledge should be unending. Knowledge is power. Most people who are successful have achieved that level of success simply because know more than the rest of us. People with knowledge can determine their income. Knowledge builds confidence, there is nothing quite like being the smartest person in the room; and everyone knows it.
I encourage you to read books, different kinds of books to broaden your knowledge base. Get to know different people, begin to network and engage in social media. God created us to be inventors, explorers, and to have dominion. We have libraries, bookstores, and the internet
that makes accessing information quite easy.
It was Mark Van Doren that said, “Any piece of knowledge I acquire today has a value at this moment exactly proportioned to my skill to deal with it. Tomorrow, when I know more, I
recall that piece of knowledge and use it better”.
We have an opportunity to improve our lives and the lives of others as we better utilize the knowledge we gain. The Bible states we should leave an inheritance for our children’s children, which includes of legacy of education and knowledge.
In summary, make the pursuit of knowledge an adventure; make it a priority; and by all means make it fun! Do you believe it; I know you do. Keep God first in your life; read your Bible everyday, and always, always strive to “be the first to know”.
Jesus said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”. (John 8:32)
The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh
knowledge. (Pr. 18:15)
God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning
and wisdom. (Daniel 1:17)
